Simon Paynter is a passionate videographer and filmmaker. He returned to his hometown of Motueka after studying Screen Production through SIT and Yoobee School of Design.
His passion for videography begun in his early 20's while he was working as an office manager. Simon purchased his first camera, a Canon 100D after being inspired by filmmakers of his generation. He went off and filmed all sorts of projects for various friends and family. It was only a matter of time before he wanted to shift from being a camera hobbyist to a more professional career in video.
Outside of his love for videography and filmmaking, Simon is passionate about music, sports, history and enjoys spending time in the Marlborough Sounds fishing and relaxing with his family.
